No, Canelo hasnt fought under WBC rules since the WBC announced they were teaming up with VADA to launch the Clean Boxing Program.
The WBC actually held the launch at the MGM grand the SAME DAY as the Canelo Khan fight.

Idk that its a big deal its just getting corny & lame that this guy keeps coming up with trinkets for every notable fight.

Follow the money. This smells like a way for Sulaiman to spend that "non-profit" money for belts he either indirectly makes or gets kick backs from. These belts cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. The belt for MayPac cost over $1 mil to make. And at the pace they're pumping these trophy belts out, something seems fishy!
