    Dont call a somebody a rising contender if you fighting bums like this Naim Nelson (13-3, 1 KO). the phrase cannot punch his way out of a paper bag

      Exactly! He should be fighting another prospect or real contender at this point, not some hopeless, powerless fighter.

        Barrios is still just 22 so I can't hate on this fight too hard as this is probably more of a keep busy fight than anything else, but its still a guy on a bad trajectory (lost 3 of his last 4 bouts) that Barrios shouldn't be fighting at this point I'd argue. Get this guy some vets or some other prospects & keep moving him up the ladder & get him some higher level experience.

            Its ironic how Bob Arum gets the blame for every decision he makes but pbc gets away with its top fighters refusing to face each other & fighting once per year. At the same time, everyone expects Crawford to face Thurman, Spence, Garcia, Porter, Peterson, Khan one after another! Why should Crawford leave Top Rank for pbc when those guys refuse to fight other top guys?
