Excuses to discredit Nelo, oh I see..

..That Alvarez should'Ve fought him ''years ago...'' Alvarez wasn't even in the picture until he beat Cotto, which the actual date for the match would've been in 2016.

How is 2016 to 2017 now shot?
In a perfect world they should have been born closer together. Golovkin's old there's no denying it. There's nothing we can do about it though since they chose to accept the fight.

Make a prediction on the fight. Mine is Golovkin by KO.

OK what's your prediction on the fight.

They're just getting their excuses ready just in case.

I really don't think age will play a huge role in this fight as GGG's best attributes are his size and his power, both of which tend to age quite well.

I see Gennady taking a knee by taking one to the body... When they're dishing it out on the inside, I see Nelo catching GGG with his guard up leaving an open space for Nelo to land a significant one.

The way I see it, Gennady hasn't had any opposition that has attacked him to the body...like Kovalev...

As Floyd said, ''you can give but can you take it?'' Same goes for Nelo. I just see Nelo drawing the faster gun on the exchanges during combinations. If GGG wasn't trolling in getting tagged by Brook, then the theory holds water. Alvarez is a strong dude in close range.

He's not a like a Jacobs or a Golovkin that need space to load up. That's what's expected of him, as he needs to pass the Mexican eye test like the Barrera, Morales, Marquez stylee before him. There hasn't been a Mexican like Alvarez at such weights, and it's a shame many Mexican press biased to the Chavez family or Marquez and Beristain all discrediting Nelo for years...

Sure JCC jr. is the first Middleweight in Mexican history, but the Chavez family acting suspect with their hate on Nelo. that all backfired on them

Next great fight needs to be Alvarez vs Ramirez at 168 or against Eubank Jr.

I don't agree obviously. I wasn't expecting a well thought out answer. Canelo does have the hand speed advantage I'll give him that.

Age isn't going to affect him at all. GGG hasn't been in wars. His power will decide this fight. He has hammers for fists. I don't see Canelo avoiding them or being able to take them. I HOPE he goes into the fight with the same mentality he had when he went against Khan and Chavez, and then see the expression on his face when he realises he's facing a real middleweight with HW power, and then watch him try and miserably fail to be something other than the flatfooted, one trick pony he is.

GGG isn't Khan and Canelo couldn't even get Chavez to take a knee. You underestimate Golovkin. You really do. You're in for a ****ing surprise, mate.
