Russian boxer Denis Shafikov will be changing his weight division for his next ring return, with a drop down to the super featherweight limit of 130-pounds, according to the director of Ural Boxing Promotions, Alexey Vasiliev. Previously, the 32-year-old Shafikov performed in some of the toughest fights in the lightweight division, where he failed on three occasions to secure the IBF title. He's just an agressive/dirty C level fighter.

Its a good weight for him because he is too small for lightweight. He is going to win a title at 130.

Interesting move for a guy his age. Plenty of good fights to make at 130 though

He's a swarmer and a damn good one, Not seen much evidence of his being dirty either. Taken Easter and Rances to the brink (despite the official scores numerous people had him beating one or both). The only guy that really handled him was Titere. Not bad for a C- Level midget in my book.
