    Slugger vs. Swarmer.

We know that a slugger beats a swarmer, because the swarmer only moves forward, which works in the slugger's favor since he doesn't have to chase him to land his big punches.

So, what were some fights between a slugger and a swarmer? I already know about Foreman-Frazier and Liston-Patterson.

Not 100% sure, but I think Juan Diaz fits the swarmer and Acelino Freitas fits the slugger type. In this case, the swarmer outfought the slugger. Ill try to think of another examples.

Hard punching swarmer Pryor KOed skilled slugger Arguello twice. Pryor was bigger and I think he was younger.

Some boxers are both swarmers and sluggers. Porter, Lemieux, Matthysse, Spence, Maidana and Pacquiao at their best swarm their opponent with hard punches.

If a slugger means a hard puncher then he was indeed a slugger. That doesn't mean he was sloppy or unskilled if that is what slugger means to you. But if slugger means a hard puncher that's what Arguelo was. Take a look at his KO percentage. He was famous for the power of his straight right and left hook.

Guess it depends on the definition...i always thought of him as a boxer puncher.

No that quote is flawed you idiot follower boxing isn't a name of type of fighter which determines matches which is how you idiots think you think the name of the style determines the fight no its depends on the skill level of said style and condition so we don't know cause that's not how boxing or any sport works and not all swammers fight the same way

No sport is always won cause of a certain style it depends on condition style and level of skill you need to research more instead of repeating idiotic quotes

Its been mutiple swammers who beat sluggers
