So why is Lomachenko/Rigondeaux happening at 130?

Rigo's move up is nothing compared to Manny Pacquaio's.
The problem is that Rigo is 37 years old...is a little bit late to climb weight classes like a 20 years old.

Duran did it when he was older than that.

And his fans didn't whine and bitch about it.

You can just tell by Duran's frame that his ceiling was much higher than Rigo's. As for Pac, he had a little help and a very powerful promoter backing him.

Rigo is just going from junior featherweight to super featherweight. Not a big jump.

His fans are pussies to bitch about it.

Roberto Duran started at bantamweight and went all the way to light heavyweight.

Billy Conn started at lightweight and fought at heavyweight, as did Sam Langford.

No reason Rigo can't man up!

It's been proven and shown time and time again Rigo dropped out of the fight at 126 because he didn't want to move up in weight to fight Loma. This was after they had already accepted the financials.

Loma fights at 130 pounds and apparently Rigo has agreed to fight at that weight. If the fight is close and Loma wins some will say it was the size advantage. If Loma wins easily then I have to think he would beat him just as easily 127. If Rigo wins it's a great win that will raise him even higher on my PFP list than he already is.

Easy, by offering him 500k WITHOUT that silly side bet he offered Walters because he knew damn well he would take it in a heartbeat. And it's not made up, it's all documented. And let me remind you that Loma was a nonfactor with a 4-1 record at the time and Rigo was still high off the Donaire victory.

Rigo is the one who wanted the fight from day one. Loma never showed any interest in fighting him, and made it very clear. The only reason we're getting the fight now is because Loma was pressured by both Rigo and the public for the fight to happen. Now Loma wants every advantage on his side and Rigo will take the challenge, because that's apparently what cowards do in the fantasy world you live in.
