Why would I forget about boxing? Conor didn't do a thing to make me think pro boxers aren't much better in a boxing ring than any UFC fighter. Conor won the first 3 rounds only because Mayweather hardly threw a punch at all in these rounds. In other words Mayweather gave him the first 3 rounds. Conor lost every other round to a Mayweather who was so slow and sloppy it was hard to believe it was really Mayweather and not some bum boxer wearing a Mayweather mask. If Conor fought the best active boxers his size like GGG, Canelo or Jermall he would get KOed in the first round. It's unlikely any boxer can beat the best cage fighters his weight in the cage because he doesn't know how to kick, knee or fight on the ground. It's even more unlikely that any UFC fighter can beat the best boxers his weight in the boxing ring because they don't have the boxing skills, punching power, stamina or chin to beat them. Conor is the best boxer in the UFC and his performance against the awful Mayweather who showed up made it clear that he has no chance to beat any top pro boxer his weight.He probably could beat Paulie.
