That might not be crazy. Bisping is an older (38yrs) standup fighter (boxing, karate, kickboxing) who you could probably get to agree to a standup fight. He does know some BJJ, but I'm trying to recall him using it often aggressively usually he just standup strikes when he fights largely. A boxer being at the mercy of a MMA guy is a hell of a lot of trust to put on one guy doe lol.

This is gonna happen sooner or later doe so whatever. I'm anxious to see more mixed fights.

but why though man? theres been two high profile ones (toney v couture and mcgregor v mayweather) and theyve both been incredibly one sided. id rather see world class boxers fight world class boxers and world class mma fighters fight world class mma fighters. not a fan of these circus fights

Toney vs Couture ****** cuz Toney didn't take it seriously I don't disagree with most people's take there, but I found McGregor vs Mayweather a fun fight. And ultimately I don't give a f#ck about legacy & resumes. I care about entertainment & I find these MMAer to boxing & boxer to MMA situations fun when taken more seriously & the air of mystery as to what McGregor would look like in boxing was compelling as well to me.

But like I said mostly I wanna be entertained & I think different styles entertains me more then seeing superior boxer vs lesser boxer like we see far too often in boxing. Thats one of the places fails vs MMA & specifically to me. There are far too few competitive fights in boxing & they don't appear to take the fans desire to be entertained as seriously as most things that live & die on entertaining the people paying the money.
