I don't think it's a triangle theory so much as Floyd settled most every question regarding best of the era. But there has been this unsettled matter regarding Golovkin and the hype surrounding him largely because while there has been largely dominance the opposition hasn't been at the highest level. A loss to Canelo erases any sort of claim to parity in Elite status. Very good for their legacy regarding this era.

I don't know how Reynoso and Ginger are planning to evade/counter GGG's jab because it' will probably worry Nelo.

GGG is soft in the middle and they will try to brake his output punching in that area, Jacobs had GGG good boy this way.

But Nelo will have his hands down punching to the body and exposes his head...

      Gonna be a great fight.
Jacobs landed a few body shots, but to little effect. GGG didn't even stop coming. Canelo isn't as powerful as Jacobs, and will struggle to get ggg attention.

Unless ggg has significantly slowed, we should see a match up that eventually ends much like Lemiuex, with GGG pressure and punishment being so decisive, Canelo corner quits.

GGG I said a HOF if retired today. The fact it took until he was in his mid 30's before top competition would even consider fighting him is testament to just how good he is.

Canelo is a good fighter, Young in his prime, and specifically waited until GGG went 12 rounds for first time before he even tried.

If Vanelo wins it'd be by 12 round controversial decision as always. GGG will be fine. It would just solidify the view some already have, that Canelo is getting Golovkin at the right time.

If GGG blast Canelo out, some will also say GGG is a giant who was too big.

Top guys at 160 had ducked Golovkin since he turned pro. These guys who are stepping up now are doing so thinking they may too catch him at the right time.

If Floyd though all it too to beat ggg was a jab and movement he'd get that sixth division title and cement himself as an ATG, but he doesn't.

Because he knows damn well a simple jab isn't gonna beat ggg.

Everyone at 160 is hoping Canelo wins.

Reason, because only time these guys want to fight GGG is when he's having to give up things.

If GGG bests Canelo, Suanders they can overpay, after that everyone has to at least fight ggg on even grounds. No more rehydrating for 34 hours and putting on 20 pounds. Rubio and Geale was 180 against GGG. Jacobs was significantly bigger than either of them.

Jacobs would say no if ggg forced a year long VADA test and 5 test in camp. Jacobs camp smartly gamed the fight knowing ggg wanted to keep his title. That little came will end if ggg beats Canelo.

Jacobs would freak if ggg stipulated a 15 pound rehydration clause. Hell even 20. Stevens got blasted by a huge Lemiuex. Jacobs did same crap, but still was on his back foot running and throwing weak sauce all fight.
He already has cemented himself as an ALL TIME GREAT. TBE

Maybe the senile old fool is getting the 2 boxers mixed up. Because that is how GGG beats Canelo imo. PATIENCE and using his excellent jab and size, keeping a distance.. if Canelo tries to come in with that long right to the body, GGG can pick him off for sure.

Canelo's jab is non existent he barely throws it, so he can't win that way, he also lacks the footwork to box and move efficiently so he's going to have to engage, if it's a battle of the jabs Golovkin wins easy for me, he has an excellent jab, the more bar like brawl the fight is the more it suits canelo.

Canelo evades with subtle movements of the torso, head and knees. Not so much with foot movement. Golovkin will be in his face all night. The only way Canelo evades with his feet is if he gets badly hurt & has to retreat. If he stings Golovkin, GGG will use foot & head/torso movement to reposition himself. I don't see either guy doing much dancing around, though. The old man must be imagining his son is fighting. This is going to be a great fight!!!
