Comments Thread For: Horn's Possible Opponents: Vargas, Lamont Peterson, Mundine

JEFF Horn's trainer Glenn Rushton won't say no to Anthony Mundine, but admits he isn't at the top of the world champion's boxing wish list. Horn's rematch with Manny Pacquiao fell through last Friday, with the WBO welterweight champion now searching for a replacement to fight in Brisbane later this year.

If true to form he fought bailey 43 funeka 38 both knocked him down then Manny pushing 40 got robbery decision so it's mundine about 40. If he was not white would've never got Manny title shot. Vargas in house Arum diuble dip so maybe mannys leftovers

A Peterson fight would be nice, but it won't happen.

We'll get a terrible Mundine fight.

Peterson has bigger fish to fry. He is Thurman's mandatory. Thats an easy fight for Lamont. Why go through the hell fire and brimstone Jeff Horn brings on hostile ground when he could get a layup against the vulnerable Thurman?

Isn't Mundine like 2 or 3 divisions above Horn? Can Mundine make 147lbs?!?!?

And I thought he was going back to Rugby any damn way?

Also amazed Arum is f#cking over Crawford fighting Horn to be a player at 147 out of the gate. Crawford is arguable the best thing Arum has at 147 by a mile the day he brings up 147 & they are trying to line things up now so that Crawford wastes a year or near a year of his career at 147 holding his ****. And Crawford is 30 this month. Careers don't last for f#cking ever.

He couldn't make 147 he looks like a POW at 154, his best was 168, he had his chance when he went 12 with Kessler and knocked back a fight with Calzaghe, from then on all down hill and milking domestic fights with Danny Green Sam Soliman Lester Ellis etc ,

He is washed up and totally shot I hope they don't make this fight thinking it will draw.

                  Agreed with reloaded ^^^

Mundine is still a big name here, but I think most people (casuals) realise how shot he is and wouldn't tune in for a horn fight in the kind of numbers ppl would hope. I could be wrong though. probably am wrong actually. lol

Horn v Crawford would be a fun fight, and would announce Crawford as a player at 147. Agreed that arum is really ****ing Crawford's career over big time.

The future looks gloomy for the Aussie Jeff Horn : In light of the imminent dangers that approach the imprudent Journeyman, I find myself restlessly eager to witness Jeff Horn engage in more jeopardy ; part of the intrigue is how this numbskull manages to excel in the sport despite his gross incompetence -- entertaining in a comical sense, he is like the Wylie Coyote of boxing.
