Jesus f#ck this is a garbage ass list of potential last fight opponents. I suspect the loser of GGG vs Canelo will think Cotto is a nice option for a comeback fight, although maybe not in December & I suspect if they want the fight in March Cotto will ultimately have lil defense on being retired on Dec. 31 for no f#cking reason vs being active 10 weeks later in mid-March for example. Davy L is the only other really sexy option for Cotto to retire against. BJS or Monroe wouldn't be THAT bad an option vs some of those random GBP guys lol.

And I still say the winner of Canelo vs GGG, even if its Canelo, will take a nice look at Cotto as an opponent cuz say what you will about Cotto there is no denying he's a name guy who sells tickets & PPV buys,

Dan Ambrosee from Boxing News 24 has no clue when it comes to those options for Cotto.

With limited options, the guys that are available for a potential fight with Cotto seem to be:

    Matthysse at a catchweight

    Khan at a catchweight

    Kell Brook at 154

Lemieux at the catchweight Cotto wants, Lol

Margacheato has a slim to none outside shot, but I really doubt it.

Or Cotto has to stop being stubborn and move his retirement date to next year in 2018 to open up his options and possibilities.

Because the retiring by December 31st 2017 is severely limiting his options.

There is always the possibility of him flying to the U.K. for a fight if he's looking at one big payday. Cotto vs Khan/Brook could be big there.
