Comparing their primes, De La Hoya is a much better fighter than Mayweather. As for promotion, pretty sure Oscar would have promoted Canelo-McGregor fight. Money talks, so of course he would have promoted it as a must-see attraction.

No he isn't. Oscar was very good not great fighter who biggest claim to fame is cross over appeal.
