he wont get much credit on here for beating canelo. The people who are saying canelo will win will suddenly start referring to him as floyds leftovers, theyve got their excuses and escape plans lined up already in case golovkin does a number on canelo.I imagine the people who argued that canelo has improved so much since that fight will change there tune. Expect a lot of people to get behind jermall charlo suddenly, and that golovkin has to fight him to prove himself. For some reason this guy upsets people so much, and its going to upset them even more when he ends up as 2017 fighter of the year by beating jacobs and canelo, not bad for a cherrypicker whos scared to challenge himself.

Rubio already proved how limited Lemieux was before Golovkin. Canelo is flawed but he's far from being limited in the same aspect as Lemieux. Both fighters are going to find success because both of their styles match up perfectly.

At the end of the day it'll come down to how much impact Canelo's power will have on GGG. Not in the sense that he'll have to visibly hurt or knock him down, but at the very least making him respect his punches.
