You would think by reading the title McGregor is currently in the hospital and he's in a coma or something.

I would have went along with the doctor if Conor was taken to the hospital immediately after the fight. We saw him partying all night greeting his fans, embracing ring girls, etc.

Fans of TBE would go to any length just to worship their hero. It's pathetic, actually. They don't even care about Conor's well-being as long as their hero gets the credit.

If he had brain trauma then he had the trauma already present before the fight. Mayweather did not do that kind of damage.

You just wanted Conor to end up like Magomed Abdusalomov.

The dude was drinking alcohol the moment he stepped out of the ring. We don't know how he was back at the hotel, I guarantee you he had a splitting headache after those flush shots.

Writer is entitled to his OPINION but unless he actually treated Conor and can give the diagnosis, its clickbait. No need for people to be salty over it.

Oh and OP don't be a PoS with your own clickbait, this isn't breaking news.
Boxing physicians are TRAINED to observe when a fighter is in trouble, especially after what happened to Gerald McClellan and their failures back then.

We just had Tim the MMA fighter die after getting knocked out.

What the hell is the matter with all of you wanting Conor to literally die in the ring? The man was concussed after eating multiple FLUSH UNANSWERED shots. That's fact.

All I'm saying is, that makes it a good stoppage to prevent him from incurring any additional damage that might kill the man.

The title says no such. The article is from a person who know how to identify the signs of brain trauma better than you, better than me. Stop it.

Nate Diaz had him wobbled after the first fight, but not nearly as bad as Floyd did, and Conor was steady leading up to and in the fight. No...Floyd was rocking the man's brain for a solid minute, not even counting the rounds leading up to 10.

It was absolutely the right call to stop the fight, 100%. But if I'm reading this right this is just a Doctor giving an educated guess. He wasn't in any way tied to this fight right? It may be an educated guess but it nevertheless is still just a guess.

A professional observation based on decades of experience isn't a guess, bro.

A doctor doesn't need to cut you open to know when your appendix is ruptured. Or when you're choking. Or when you're having a heart attack.

Symptoms are a thing for a reason.

Funny but the doctor told my mom her appendix had to come out, turned out she was pregnant.

It is an opinion based on limited information. Look up symptoms for something and you'll find multiple different possibilities.

He may have had brain trauma but this doctor is only making an educated guess. Like you said it was an observation.

Again I have no problem with that fight being stopped. This is doctor who made an observstion but there were also professionals on the spot right? I haven't heard them say he had brain trauma. I'll take the diagnosis of the doctors in the room vs the one sitting at home.

That's just an incompetent doctor, since the pains are in two totally different parts of the abdomen.

Let me add, unless Nevada is grossly negligent they should have a doctor onsite who does a check after the fight. A confusion protocol just like they have in the NFL. They have players who get hit and they have to go to the sidelines. They are then observed and must pass a test to get back in the game. They don't just pull every player out of the game and call it a concussion/mild brain trauma based on getting a hard hit to the head.

Honestly all of boxing involves mild trauma to the head. Every fight where someone takes blows to the head is mild brain trauma. This is why it is the most dangerous sport. When a fighter like Conor is taking blow after blow they need to stop the fight.

I've run across more than a few incompetent doctors. Just like every profession there are bad ones and even good ones who screw up.
