I didn't argue against it. I was correcting your false information. You said same advisor (false) same stable (false. Jack is with Mayweather Promotions. Stevenson is with GYM.) Same network (false. Neither one has a network deal with Showtime but I'll admit that's just semantics). Your whole post was full of fake news. I know they both have mandatory obligations against good fighters. I guess that WBA doesn't have objections on this kind of "unification"... I don't know about WBC though...

By unifying the WBA & WBC, the unified champion may request to become mandatory to the WBA Super belt. Which will automatically force Ward to defend his WBA title or vacate.
In this position, Andre Ward will be cornered by his mandatory, without having the upper hand in the negotiation process.
Because Ward best business tactic move, is to force the opponent to beg for the belts; Once done, he presents the challenger a "J.Prince" contract with no financial advantage for the opponent.
