When you are a prized fighter, there are certain obligation that you have to fulfill. When you are being paid 1.2 million dollars for one fight, there are responsibilities you have to comply with.
In case you don't know, the right word is PROFESSIONALISM.
actually corrales was to be paid 1.2 million dollars and castillo 900 hundred thoudand dollars
and also professionalism would have been corrales still fighting castillo......
Don't you know the meaning of the word... fair?? lol!
Not complying with what is written on signed contracts means that you are not a man of your word.
what the hell is up with everybody talking **** about Mexicans, do Mexicans harm you in real life? is it that castillo or i, are giving you an excuse to talk **** about Mexicans? damn, you sound like a scared little kid
Ricardo "Finito" Lopez kicked Rosendo Alverez ass while alverez didn't even make weight, so either you act like a profesionall and grab your balls and take the fight or you act unprofessional and don't take the fight. this fight was no small club fight, a lot of **** went on to make the fight.
fine castillo didn't make the weight, he will get finned, some of his purse will go to you, you make a new deal and the fight goes on. this is profesionalisom.
ok lets say castillo was unproffisional ok.... so now the balls in corrales corner!
what do you do!?
as a profesional, as a boxer, as a warrior, you go on and accept the fight.
you make a new deal, a new weight aggreed upon and the fight goes on.
this is proffesionalism
the show must go on!
god, your skewed logic amazes me. you accepted that castillo as unprofessional, then throw the ball at corrales, and OBLIGED him to go on w/ the fight, and if not, corrales will be the unprofessional one???
Jose Luis Castillo failed to come through on his obligation to make weight.
Of the two fighters, he's the only one to fail....
There are some intangible obligations fighters must meet, & many are to the paying customers & fans. However.... Diego Corrales is not obliged to fight a foe who possesses an unfair advantage, just to please the fans.
