Be careful Ward or you might just wind up in my #1 spot of Pound for Pound Fighter.....You know I didn't like Ward but after the 2nd Kovalev Fight I realized He was legit.....I knew he was The Man at 168 but now I believe he is The Man at 175
Remember when Ward was so scurred of Kov, that he would fake an injury to get out of it....LOL
Remember when Ward got knocked down in the first fight and he was soooo scared of Kov he got up and kicked his ass....LOL
Remember when Kov said Ward hit like a little girl....LMAO Remember when Kov came to the ring in the second fight with his trunks covering his ******* (because he knew from the first fight his body couldnt take those body shots from WARd) The announcers noticed this also, the ref said EXACTLY where, by pointing during the final instructions with his left hand, ) where he would consider a low blow, Roy jones noted on air that Kov's trunks were higher than normal.
REMEMBER WARd v Kov I was a UNANIMOUS decision
REMEMBER when WARd MADE KITTY QUIT
Nice way to derail the thread...
Really? Trunks too high? He wears his trunks the same way in all his fights.
On the same level as Ward, and every other boxer. And guess what? It was all on video. It's time to let this shlt die out, but morons like you keep talking ****. Ward wins by fouling ALL his career. Remember being dropped on the head as a baby?
I agree the guy wasted 2 years of fame... At the same time, no one really wanted to put some meat around the talking... Both Hopkins and Kovalev went another direction...
Say what you want, the guy is a gifted boxer with beyond average abilities and the best Left Hand in the business...
Now does he use it wisely ? Nope... Alvarez (a stable mate) should be done and dealt with before any unification plan...
Adonis isn't avoiding anyone... He's just a little lazy...
Adonis feels like he can beat Ward point blank that's why he's calling him out. But why isn't Ward eager to call Adonis bluff? All Ward had to say is "I'll fight him no problem". I think Ward is cautious about Adonis power. But what's helping Ward is Stevenson reputation for "ducking" Kovalev, so anytime Adonis mentions a fighter NOBODY takes him serious. With that said I think Adonis has a good chance to KO Ward. That's the fight I'd like to see get made asap!!! Let's make it HAPPEN!!
Let's get the facts damn straight. Ward last fought at a mandated 168lb limit in 2012 against a severely weight drained Dawson. He has been fighting at light heavyweight ever since.
The only time Stevenson v Kovalev reached a point of genuine negotiations, it was KOv and his team that pulled out of purse bids.
Stevenson has called Ward out, it if not a valid reason to say "oh well, you didn't unify before" to not want the fight. If Stev is bluffing, as Ward insinuates, then call his bluss and bring your 2 teams together.

ummm..... ?
I agree that Kovalev pulled out of the purse bid, and that NO blame should be directed toward Stevenson
Adonis called Duva's bluff, you don't blame a man for doing that
re: Ward, the facts that you want to get "damn straight" are.....
FACT: in June 2015 Andre Ward fought the super-middleweight Paul Smith at 172 in order to gradually work his way back to 168 following nearly 2 years inactivity in order to fight Golovkin
there is no other honest/accurate way of looking at it
you become a LHW, when you are attempting to make 175 in order to fight a LHW..... the preparation is completely different
insinuating that a particular fight fell within a particular weight, so..... is a little ignorant..... because it comes down to preparation, and Ward was preparing for 168
just like all that rubbish about Canelo being a middleweight by fighting at 155..... he will be much stronger at 160 and a completely different proposition
with respect, what I just said..... is WAAAAAY more accurate than what you just said
I agree that Ward should call Stevenson's " bluff "
Stevenson is Ward's " Bute " at 175, he would be silly to miss the boat, again..... he should capitalize on his Kovalev momentum
not making a comparison with those fighters, just with the situation..... Bute was the unproven/unbeaten guy with question marks, just like Stevenson
