I think Conor needs to make the boxing fights 10 rounds instead of 12. Not like he's fighting for a title anyway.

Conor v. Paulie first in a 10 round fight...

Then Conor v. Amir Khan in a 10 round fight..

Boxing Purists on this site are ******ed lol...

I read the comments - Duhhh Conor isn't beating any prime top boxers...

But Paulie and Amir Khan are winnable money fights for him at this point..obviously Paulie first to gauge how he does - and he should shorten the fights to 10 rounds instead of 12.

A week later, and we're still talking about this clown?
He's an athletic cartoon character with amateurish boxing skill. I understand why simple MMA fans are impressed by his shtick, but I don't understand why any self-respecting boxing fan would care about this guy.
He's more concerned with his image than his skills, and judging by his wrestling ability, it looks like he mutilated his own ears so he could have the appearance of a fighter without putting in the hours of work.

There is high demand for a showdown with Broner. That would be a huge PPV event and worldwide attraction.

Smug, holier-than-thou Boxing ****** who probably said he wouldn't lay a glove on Floyd - but he won at least 3 rounds against Floyd and hurt him to the body badly in round 9 - Canelo didn't even accomplish any of those things..

            Fk you, you smug-boxing cacksucker.

So-called Boxing-Purist POS like you better hope Canelo v. GGG does at least 2 million buys... that fight does less than 2 mil - then boxing is relegated back to the dark years...

Floyd-Conor just did about 4-5 mil PPV buys...

McGregor did not look healthy at the weigh in, he was almost two divisions bigger than Mayweather and his power was laughable. When you look at it entirely he can't compete in this sport, unless he's fighting blown up half decent Jr WWs

McGregor's fast and athletic, GGG and Canelo are slow.

If he had stamina he could probably avoid getting hit too much and get a nice check

But if he didn't have it at 29 in a huge fight against Mayweather I don't think he can find it now. He'd get mauled.

Why would I hope it sells well? I'm not making a dime from it. And what does boxing's future have to do with Canelo vs Golovkin PPV sales? You can't seriously be trying to compare the importance of Canelo/Golovkin to Mayweather/McGregor based on how well each PPV sells. Did you think boxing would stop being a niche sport because over 5 million non-boxing fans were fooled into buying a boxing PPV? They didn't care about boxing while they were watching their hero get beaten, and they care even less about it now that it's over. Floyd did not convert many UFC fans into boxing fans, and Conor certainly did not impress many 'boxing purists'. Not sure what you're so salty about, unless you're just still butthurt about Conor losing. Lost money on the fight? Embarrassed about backing Conor? Whatever it is, get over it.

Please, Khan would kill him. Connor has nothing but weak arm punches. Connor only stands a chance against a very out of shape Malinaggi. Paulie with one month of training embarasses him.
