The ref saved him from getting knocked out. Conor is no more likely to die from being knocked out than any other boxer. Boxers get knocked out all the time and they almost always make a full recovery and are fine. Why would Conor be any different. It's just about certain Mayweather would have knocked him out if the ref had not stopped the fight. The chances he would have died are extremely small.

Ten years from now, instead of just 2 HOF fighters beaten the number might be 10 or 11.

He is the best of his era and it is kinda foolish to argue otherwise.

But, I bet you will keep trying.

And still not one of them would go down as a prime elite, HOF or no HOF.

First off, that's not true and it kinda makes you look like a hater saying it.

But, even if it was, you could say that about a lot of fighters.

Probably could say it about your favorite current fighter and some of your all time favs as well.

But none of them have 24 wins over other champions or 12 wins over other lineal champions.

Get this tweet to Boliodogs cause he seems to think Conor was in no imminent danger at all.

                  I agree.

Same goes for "mild" and "brain injury".

And fools still talkin' 'bout "boo hoo hoo, it was stopped too early!"

Conor should send Byrd something expensive the next ten years every Christmas.

Exactly. There is nothing mild about any brain injury or brain trauma

I just thinks some folks are downplaying how much danger Conor was in. And now it turns out he was hurt significantly in a manner that would undoubtedly have been worse the more punishment he took.
