    Will Charlo-Lubin be a repeat of Charlo-Williams?

2 undefeated junior middleweights go at next month in Jermell Charlo and Erickson Lubin. I am getting the exact same feel from when his twin brother, Jermall Charlo faced Julian Williams last year.

J-Roc came in undefeated, confident (maybe even too much) and was in over his head. The majority here had a Williams victory already in place as he would have been crowned the new boogie man at 154. After that night a different tune was sung.

I see the exact same thing. Lubin in untested (in the pros at least, he had a stellar amateur record) and is just 21. And I also think the majority is picking him to win also. The only thing goin for him is his length. He has freakish long arms for just a 5'9 kid (76) but it won't be enough.

Lubin is 5'9.5" and his reach is 74.5 according to boxrec.

Jermell is 5'11" and his reach is 73.

Ps. My prediction is that Charlo knocks him out in round 7 or 8. If I am wrong it will only be because Charlo knocked him out much earlier than I expected. I don't see Lubin winning at all.

I've seen his reach listed at 76.

Very possible. I don't know why they rushed Lubin into this. He's still so young. They could have let him get some more pro experience. It's not like everyone was clamoring for these two to fight.

Lubin could very well bite off more than he can chew. This is a sublime fight between two young and hungry fighters.
Williams had everything you wanted in a young hungry lion, the mistake I and many made was that Charlo was JUST AS HUNGRY because he just became champion and had a much higher boxing IQ than he showed against Trout.

He was half blind against Trout, LITERALLY.

Well we shall see! 55/45 towards Charlo who is the Champion and more tested but Lubin is so talented that you could also see a Star be Born and do what nobody expect him to do and all of you who doubt him and say "He Is Not Ready" "He Is Being Rushed" will be back on here calling Charlo "Overrated"

It is not a boxer in boxing history who wasn't that "He Is Not Ready" or "Who Has He Fought" Guy! Ali was once that as well going into the Liston fight and people thought he was jumping in with Liston too early and that "Liston Would Knock Him Out".

Lubin has nothing to lose, he is 21 years old, if he comes up short in his first big test then he can just work his way back! However, if he wins he goes on to DOMINATE 154 for years to come!

If Lublin keeps his chin tucked and doesn't get reckless he outboxes Charlo. Charlo can't deal with movement.
