Yep. Doesn't matter who fights Ward, they're always gonna be at a disadvantage. And not from Ward's talent, which he has a good bit of. It's Ward getting too many breaks, too many fouls being ignored, etc etc. Anyone can become discouraged when a b.s. mountain is in front of them. I'm sure Kovalev will return very strong in the fall.

One of the guys on his team said that by kovs actions, he knew he was looking for a way out. He lost TWICE.
Keep taking your loony pills and referring to the 'official' record. Must seem kinda sick though, being a fan of a blatant cheater who actually has the talent to NOT be a cheater.

Funny how all the Ward fans come out to trash the guy who Ward repeatedly fouled. Ward is flat out poison for the sport. Brutally KO him, or you lose either by being fouled, or by boxing politics. I could never go into a fight like that. It would negatively effect my training camp, couldn't get into it at all.

Well, well... Reading between the lines he's already on a PED program and moving up to Cruiser in a near future ...

There are plenty of good fighters at LH that he could make great fights with.

Yeah I agree, the referees were on Ward's side in both bouts, it was disgusting to see. Kovalev lost the rematch due to fatigue more than's Ward's doing. He needs to work on his cardio and get into better shape next time around.

If he retires now, would he someday be Hall of Fame worthy? I'm not sure he's done enough. But if he doesn't give a damn about that anymore, I can understand. I'll never forget the guy that gave Ward his first real beating.

Remember when he was complaining about training even for the Chilean bout, in his home country??

Let's review, beats an old BHOP at 50yrs of age. Fights Pascal twice which the 50yr old had already done...

Seems to me Kovalev was catered or destined to lose against Ward.
