Will Stevenson man up and fight Ward?
Kovalev never ducked Ward. Kov was the champ, Ward moved up to fight him. You could say Ward went after Kovalev but you can't say Kovalev ever avoided Ward.

GGG did not duck him. Ward made no effort to fight him and GGG is not obligated to move up another weight class. If you say GGG ducked Ward then you have to say Floyd ducked GGG and Martinez when they offered to come down to 154. Martinez even offered to come down to 150.

Kovalev fought him twice, got robbed the first time and cheap shotted into submission in the second.

Stevenson doesn't to fight anyone with a pulse.

Aside from that, Ward has a reputation as a dirty fighter. He is high risk and low reward. He can't fill arenas and he can't sell PPVs.

Ward is usually incredibly boring & brings ZERO money to the table. He’s also high risk with his 1-2 hold style... ward kovakev barely cracked 100K PPV buys. If you we’re someone’s manager you would tell them to fight ward???

Froch said it best, "people just don't wanna watch him". He's not commercially viable, no mass market appeal with no charisma - strictly for boxing purists. Boxers want someone who guarantees a nice meal ticket.

So who is this big moneymaker at 175? Because no one at that weight gets better ratings than Ward, generates better gate or gets paid more. No one is ducking Ward and Ward isn't ducking anyone either. He told you expect an announcement soon as far as his career so I would just wait until then.

There is no PBC unified Champion. Haymon has the opportunity with Thurman vs Spence Jr., probably wants that before Ward gets the opportunity against one of his fighters
Ward has been critical of Adonis Stevenson; to take that broadly to call it a beef with Haymon is a mistake. Virgil Hunter has been featured all across the PBC channels as a guest commentator and not once have you seen PBC **** on Andre Ward.

Still everything will come down to the business being right; Al Haymon and James Prince are two peas of a pod, with James Prince happy to relatively quietly be reachable during fight events.

Maybe you engineer a sit-down between Haymon and Jay-Z (not sure why, tbh; Beyonce's father was the target of the suit anyway), but do not be shocked if you do see a deal come together for Ward-Stevenson by Spring/Summer 2018

                    Stevenson would destroy Ward
Simple fact Ward will not and I repeat will not handle Stevenson's power
Bring that fight to Montreal and get 22000 at the Bell Center and a good ppv

Ward-Stevenson is going to be a heck of a fight, so don't count your chips just yet; will be interesting to see how Ward goes about defusing the 7-10 different schemes Stevenson had developed to deliver that left hand bomb.
