    I'm glad McGregor-Mayweather happened

It was a good fight. Both had their moments, we got a knockout and we got the surprise element by McGregor doing a lot better than expected. It was a great evening for boxing and it really drew in the masses. People have been bashing this fight a lot, both before and after, but honestly, how many fights have been more interesting this year? Ward-Kovalev, Klitschko-Joshua, Crawford-Indongo, etc., but it can't be denied that Mayweather-McGregor was one of the more interesting 2017 fights.

Any fight featuring two boxers. This was an exhibition match to initiate new promotional ventures, nothing more.

Dude, most boxing matches are getting boring as ****. Klitschko-Joshua was a great match and should be FOTY, but most boxing matches are painfully boring to watch. McGregor and Mayweather gave us an entertaining fight and people really need to stop hating.

The only difference between that fight and a fight between Mayweather and some journeyman like Van Heerden or Malignaggi is that Floyd carried McGregor a little bit to put on a show. It was a poor bout of boxing

I enjoyed it despite myself, nothing to bash....wasn't a boring 12 round decision and wasn't over too soon. It played out and satisfied both MMA and boxing fans. If it was a regular occurrence you could bash, but for a once in a lifetime exhibition...it was enjoyable. It answered the whatifs... leave it at that, stop whining.

Yea it was definitely a fun fight. I think boxing has a lot of positivity going into GGG vs Canelo which I didn't think was going to be the case when Floyd vs Conor first got announced. Might help them do really well in a couple weeks.

Im glad it happened. This fight prove that floyd is an average boxer without the IV.

People are going to look back at this era and wonder how floyd could sell 11 million PPV's (if dana's number is correct) at $100 each to fight 2 guys that had zero chance to beat him, whether the guy was the #2 p4p boxer (manny) in the world or is in his 1st pro fight.
