Yeah, I've watched the fight several times, Mayweather walked him down and was relentless, you could tell McGregor was looking for a place to hide the last few rounds. After all the crap he talked, that was beautiful to watch. Floyd out toughed him, walked right through him and put a beating on him. Floyd was head hunting at the end and missed several big shots that might have KOed McGregor. Conor had to feel helpless at that time with those bombs buzzing by his head.

I think Mayweather earned McGregor's respect with the way he fought. And I don't think MCGregor may ever know how truly helpless he was in there. Mayweather did whatever he wanted once he started to fight and he didn't even have to worry about defense. That was beautiful to watch, Mayweather basically said, "I don't even have to box like myself, I can just plod forward and hammer this chump."

Everyone knew McGregor would be humbled by his experience in the ring with Mayweather. The fight was fairly entertaining. I think they both should be commended for putting on good a show. There is nothing McGregor could have done to be more competitive in the fight.

I think he a disgrace for that. I dont have room to give him credit for how well he done. You can only give him that type of credit, had he not ran his mouth prior. His whole team looked confused after the fight. He manipulated them all into thinking that it would be a 4 round KO. He was so out of touch, with what they were thinking. This dude was analyzing the fight with a smile on his face. His team wanted to know what happened to the 4round KO
The whole running your mouth off thing is to sell the fight. Also Conor has 200% belief in himself which he needed going into his first boxing match against someone who is one of the best boxers ever. He actually did a lot better than most of us expected. The fatigue thing was poor though - he looked like he started gassing in round 5 to me.

Floyd said he would take Conor on in MMA at one of the press conferences. I'm sure you didn't believe that. Or did you? Floyd also said he wouldn't take a step backward once the first bell rang and he was the first one to do so. It's all BS to sell the fight.

Woulda coulda shoulda. Nice salute to Mayweather at the end, though. Thought that was classy.

He was selling the fight. Eveyone was saying it was going to be a mismatch and he would get destroyed. So how many people would buy the fight under those circumstances? Not many. He was able to be more convincing during the promotion and started to convince people he has a better chance than previously thought. Not to mention Conor has a high belief in himself which all great athletes do. And guess what ? He made the fight a lot more interesting than most people thought he could. And if some of the punches he threw landed a little bit cleaner such as the uppercut in rd1 Floyd could have fell to the canvas from that shot.

I've got to say, I couldn't stand McGregor leading up to the fight, but everything since, beginning with his very first interviews post fight, he has been pure class...

It's obvious that he, like Floyd is a showman, and much of the prefight circus, was purely an act to sell the fight...

It's such a shame to have to read the posts by the Floyd haters here in NSB spout the nonsense they do about the fight, when the guy they are trying to defend has done nothing but heap praise on Floyd...

From the first post fight interview Conor has said nothing but how impressed he was with Floyd's chin, his poise, and I think most importantly, that he FOUGHT instead of box...It's so bizarre for Floyd to have actually earned the respect of McGregor and then listen to the trolls here...
