Was just thinking the other day, if the opponents of Mayweather and Cotto on August 26th fought each other, how long would McGregor have lasted against Kamegai.
If you saw both fights, you saw how McGregor started off well and then faded, got tired and stopped. While Cotto won his fight easily, Kamegai set a fast pace of fighting and ate hellacious punches the whole fight and kept running to Cotto and pressed him the whole fight. It was the craziest **** to watch a guy get blasted flush and get their head almost knocked off to just shake his head no and rush and run after Cotto to take more hellacious shots over and over.
McGregor would have started well in a fight with Kamegai too, but the relentless fast pace Kamegai sets would get McGregor tired a lot sooner than he did with Floyd.
I say Kamegai knocks McGregor out in 7 or 8.
What say you?
