Strengths and Weaknesses - Breakdown of Wright and Taylor

I just wanna know, haven't watched these two guys that much.

Anybody give me a nice, concise list of their strengths and weaknesses?

taylor is a younger, stronger, faster fighter who has a great jab and is now working with manny steward, who is great at dealing with taller fighters who posses a good jab. on the other hand, he's still a bit green, as his fights with hopkins left a few question marks.

winky is a highly experienced fighter with a great defence, he has a good jab and has a odd style which disrupts the limited brawler type of fighters. on the other hand, he's reached middle age,he has a size, reach and maybe power disadvantage.

its basically taylors size, speed, and "power" vs winky's defense, experience, and skill.

i think people are overrating taylor's power and jab. hes already been taken the distance 8 times in his 25 fight career. as for his jab, all he does is stiffen his arm, use his shoulder and body to lunge forward, while leaving him off balance, unable to follow up, and his head is WIDE open for a counter-punch, which happens to be one of winky's specialties.

taylor's going to have to use lateral movement (side to side) to get around winky's defense (cuz its impossible to get thru it). winky's going to have to do his best counters to get the better of taylor.

i dont see taylor winning this fight. he doesnt know enough about defense (meaning how to get thru it, and how to use it). and nobody can even touch winky's defense.

        winky by close UD.

In my opinion Taylor's best bet is to find a way to make Winky fight offensively. I don't know how he can do that, though.

The wild card here is Manny Stewrad isn't it?

Can he whip Taylor's skill level up so that Taylor can compete with Winky? If he does that, then Taylors' size and strength will take the fight.

If not, Winky will fight a tough fight but will win.
