Tyson rips Klit's head off and puts him in a body bag.
Vitali Klitschko vs. Mike Tyson prime for prime.

These are all very good points-- good pos.I disagree, mike would brutalize WLAD...but imo Vitali would kill mike. Vitali, unlike his brother actually has heart...he’s the type of fighter who will fight till the death. He also has never been knocked down in his kickboxing or boxing career. Tyson has no heart and no character. He’s a classic bully...
Outstanding against Lower competition but was knocked out when he faced the elite guys that were not scared of him. Mikes one of my favourite fighter, started boxing cuz of him... but if James Tillis, tony tucker, razor ruddock, bone crusher smith & Mitch Greene could go the distance with Tyson.. than so does Vitali, except he pulls off the W.
Iron Mike 80's style is one of the very best imo to graze the heavyweights and when he had Cus D'Amato to ground him he was unstoppable. The moment you remove Cus D'Amato he's a vulnerable lazy 5'10 guy that thinks he can go toe to toe with true heavy weights. Mike believed his own myth that he was the hardest hitter ever and it wasn't true. He was a fool for thinking he can go toe to toe with real full sized heavy weights.
I think his up and down swarm style was the best ever for that style of fighting. then again, swarmers have shorter shelf lives then running backs. The legs always go first in boxing, and then the speed. Mike was bound to being a sitting duck if he stayed in the game long enough.
All and all vitali in his prime still had bad knees and a prime mike didn't sit still. Vitali wouldn't have been able to deal with the movement but his iron will and sheer size would of kept it competive. If they fought 10 times I'd say Mike won 6/10 by UD.Comment

Although, I agree with 99% of your post I will say that I think that scared of Tyson thing is over blown.I disagree, mike would brutalize WLAD...but imo Vitali would kill mike. I don't think people stopped being scared of mike, more so, I think Mike stopped being scarey.
There's nothing scary about Mike going toe to toe with the mock shark bob he had once he lost his legs or better yet the will and discipline to use him.Comment

I think Vitali would have frustrated the hell out of Tyson. The size difference, and how good Vitali was at using his size, would have made it a long night.
Tyson would be trying to move into his preferred range, and would have been trying to close the distance and hit - something which he was extremely good at in his prime. But Vitali would just be leaning back as Tyson came in, and the much smaller man would have been mostly ineffective. Tyson would land few of his hits to the head, and they would have probably been at the wrong distance for maximum power, and with Vitali moving back anyway taking some of the sting out of them - and with Vitali's chin, this means little effect.
Yeah, he would have had success to the body. But I think Vitali would be peppering him with punches as he tried to close distance, and from the outside as well. Vitali also maintained his discipline, and didn't get rattled or shaken. In a battle of wills, I think Vitali outlasts Tyson.
As a H2H match up, I think it is a bad one for Tyson, stylistically, physically and mentally.Comment

PRIME Tyson, with Cus...I think Tyson stops either of the K's...I think his speed and head movement would be too much...
Tyson is such an interesting case study of a career...
- unearthly levels of talent
- physical specimen
- well documented psychological fragility
His mental state was always on a razors edge, Cus was the X factor...the man worked miracles with Mike in and out of the ring...
In an alternate universe, where Tyson is able to fight his entire career with Cus?...good Lord the career he could have hadLast edited by Soda_Popinski; 08-31-2017, 06:00 PM.Comment

Douglas exposed Tyson, guys like Ruddock & Botha showed him 0 respect and started fighting hard against him (something a bully hates) by the time his careers done he’s been stopped 6 times. (I consider the 2nd Holyfield fight dq a stoppage loss because he folded under pressure and deliberately got himself disqualified)Although, I agree with 99% of your post I will say that I think that scared of Tyson thing is over blown.

Tyson moved well in the first round against Douglas but after that's he was mostly stationary. Pretty much except for a few burst he stood in front of Douglas and got tied up in the clinch and pot shorted.
Even in the green fight Tyson moved his legs for most of th fight weaving in and out up and down with his legs. He kept the pace up way longer than in the Douglas fight especially rounds 3 - 5 and some of the later rounds.
When Tyson stood still he was a sitting duck. when i look at Tyson vs holdufield or Lennox I see she'll of man who's explosiveness was gone. Just a lot of slow footed posturing.
But your right he quit against Holyfield.Comment
