These arguments are hilarious coming from Floyd haters. Like you mother****ers haven't spent the past ten years jumping on the bandwagon and hyping up fighters Floyd never fought or you thought were threat to him. Paul Williams, a known cheater in Margarito, Lara, GGG, Pac, etc... Even a glass-chinned hype job like Khan has delusional Floyd haters going on about how he would have beaten Floyd because of his hand speed.

There was even a topic the other day where the some of the same posters in this thread whining about "fake Canelo" fans where ****ting on Diego Corrales and comparing him to Robert Guerrero just because Floyd beat him

TS, Why you gotta bring Floyd into this as if he's got something to do with the fight? He's retired and has nothing to do with the fight whatsoever. What makes them fake fans? The fact that they support more than 1 guy? Where does it say we can't support multiple fighters? In all honesty GGGroupies are way more annoying than Canelo fans. Those guys think he's a superhero who is just going to knock out everyone and can do no wrong. You want people to come out of retirement to move up and fight him, but you defend him for not moving up in weight himself. Childish hypocrites. Plus they want to call Canelo a ducker who's only fought easy fights when his competition is CLEARLY better than Golovkin's not even close.

Just enjoy the build-up and the fight and stop with all the trolling and race-baiting. Both are very good fighters, should be a GREAT fight and great for the sport.

The reason is so Floyd fans can say, "he would have beaten GGG since Canelo exposed him and Floyd schooled Canelo." If Canelo loses, these same fans will say, "G went after Floyd's leftovers." Win-win scenario with no risk to Floyd.
