Arum IS full of BS, but he is at least correct in saying that it was a glorified exeibition. Floyd carried him for 5 or 6 rounds and then went to work. And McGregor fought with more fear of losing that huge payday, then he did of losing the fight.

I was one of many who bashed this fight before it happened on Saturday.

But the actual fight itself wasn't bad. It was entertaining while it lasted. Whether it was planned to be competitive for awhile or whether it was legit is the question.

It can keep you guessing, but at the end of the day the fight was a lot better than I thought it would be. So in that regard, it served it's purpose.


Bob and Oscar need to chillax man and focus on their own fighters and fights coming up. The Mayweather-McGregor fight didn't turn out too bad at all. It was a good event and fight. Boxing is still here, let's move on. Move on already Bob, Oscar. Let's close out this year with at least one more big fight at the end of the year.

It was a circus act, that was all, I was laughing my A.SS off the whole fight, but that was because I didn't have to shell out $100 for that soap opera, to the people who actually paid for that farce of a fight, if they are happy cool for them, I would feel ripped off, the only fight that actually was a good fight was the jack vs cleverly bout.
The truth is that they (Mayweather/McGregor) know how to sell SH.IT to the general public, and if people actually made a class action lawsuit for the May/Pac fight, I think this fight will probably get a dose of that and rightfully so.

I've been around boxing since I was born (Kronk gym heads). I don't need validation from you buddy. I bought the fight because I have the money. I also watched the Cotto fight because I have an extra screen to enjoy. I support this sport on all fronts. Regardless of race, promoter, or matchup. What I'm not going to do is spend my time complaining about a fight that any objective fan could see was going to happen anyway. I know what I saw, but that doesn't mean people weren't happy with the product.

I mentioned the question of whether it was planned to be competitive, (meaning fixed) I did see things that made it obvious to question that.

I saw it for free so it's all good, along with the Cotto fight and Canelo-Golovkin 24/7

And there have been fixed fights and fixed judge scorings in countless fights and continue to happen. So is this anything new?

We can come up with a countless number of those.

But whatever the case, whether fixed or not, the fight served it's purpose in being entertaining.

I'm speaking from an objective, honest, unbiased, non-fanboy, real, point of view.
