Got some Friends interested in boxing because they wanted to try boxing out and I teached them the basics.

One guy became a hard-core and also watches Roman Gonzalez and other rather obscure fighters. The others are casuals who ask me about the next Mayweather Pacquiao golovkin canelo fight.

Have some guys I can chat with from my time when I did competitions and i met a mildly successful amateur boxer when I was in the Philippines, but he is fed up with the corruption of the sport lol.

None really, but my uncle and grandfather were boxing trainers and my dad was a boxing enthusiast but no longer with us. I have some cousins into it too, mostly because of family association to the sport but mostly they only watch the bigger fights. I can't see them being awake at 5am watching a card from USA unless it has a big name.

Outside of my family, i don't really have any friends that are into boxing. Some of them will watch the big events but i often prefer to watch alone. I don't mind watching with my girlfriend though, even though she knows nothing.

Another thing. Check your state athletic commission webpage to see the schedule of upcoming fights in your state.
Nobody watches or practices boxing in my city.

There are like 2 active pro boxers from here, so the only people who are passionate about the sport are their families and close friends. There's no way I'm searching for/stalking those people, finding them, then being all "Yo... mind if I hang with y'all? Maybe **** some of these b*tches while I'm at it?" Lol.

MMA is MUCH bigger. EFC Africa often comes here, and completely fills one of the biggest convention centers in the country. Boxing? We don't even have a boxing hall.

I have 1 or 2 other mates that come and watch shows with me and come over for fights on t.v but they are casuals. Sometimes they pretend they know they're **** but are quickly found out lol! Most of my good mates prefer UFC or are hardcore football fans
I just saw he has a wikipedia page. Is he well known enough locally that he can box full time? Does he have sponsors? Does he share his b*tches?

thats pretty cool u have some boxing roots. I got into the sport through my uncle who would always have the big fight parties at his house for camacho trinidad and tyson. Then i got really into it myself in the early 2000s during my high school years. i forget in europe you guys gotta get up early for our fights lol, thats dedication.

Is he ugly because he gets hit in the face for a living, or because he was beaten with an ugly stick when he was born?
