Too all that say ggg (or Canelo for that matter) won't fight Cotto in December please get it together. I know of y'all are new so let me game u up. Ggg has craved a foot fight for many years. He's called out and begged Cotto to fight and has state numerous times that Cotto is a dream fight. Ggg has always been desperate for a big name money fight. While he finally getting one in September I'm certain of Cotto gives the opportunity ggg will be all over it. He won't pass up another big money opportunity. Especially against Cotto a fight he has always wanted. Who else out there is a money fight for his??

Further. You panseys need to relax about the turn around time. Boxers fought four times a year for decades. That's not the problem. All boxers u undergo an 8 week camp. He can easily recover for a month to a month and a half and still have a 8 week camp. There is No issue here. Ggg will salivate. The issue is will Cotto agree. Stop the turn around non sense.

Same for Canelo. Who else he gonna fight that gets him Cotto money?? I'll be wait.

Freddie mentioned previously that if Cotto and Pacquiao fought each other again that he would not train either guy for that fight, that he would be neutral.

That fight won't happen though.

Yea I remember him saying that. Question still stands. Manny has had Freddy for over a decade. Cotto has no other options that works for him. He actually respects Freddy. They would be trainerless. That didn't work out for Cotto when he fought manny there first time where he had his water boy train him. So I'm sure Cotto won't go there.

Fights listed on this thread that have the lowest chance of happening. Cotto vs. Pac, Cotto said Roach is chosing his next opponent I mean pretty much self explanatory. Cotto vs. Danny Garcia, Cottos people already said it aint happening in the post fight interview. Cotto vs Amir Khan, unless this comes with a truly rediculous purse, no way Cottos last fight will be against Khan who's coming off a devastating knock out, and hasnt fought since. Cotto vs Mayweather, Mayweather really does seem to be done. He said something that he has never said before, that training was very difficult for him this time.

I think Canelo/GGG winner is serious consideration, Lemiuex because GBP want to prop him up if he can get a win over Cotto. Saunders because Cotto can make history again by winning another title at 160. Best fight? Cotto going down to 147 and fighting Thurman.

I hear you. For me as a Cotto fan, I'd rather he retire on a win than a loss.

He's got nothing to prove anymore, for me the man deserves a fight in his last fight where he has a good chance to be victorious against at least a name we know and someone legit.

But in the end Cotto and his team will decide. I only hope the best, hope it's the best decision for him and hope for a win. That's all I can do as a fan.
