Looks like Showtime just buckled. Anyone who hasn't followed the saga basically Showtime and UFC advertised and sold PPVs for the mcgregor fight for cord cutters. But there were major problems with folks buying and not able to watch. Showtime had major outages and the entire UFC.tv app crashed at 9pm when the PPV started with NOBODY who ordered it able to watch the undercard or main event. Thousands maybe millions have been screaming for refunds. UFC flat out refused to even release a statement and hasn't responded to emails. A class act lawsuit was filled against Showtime yesterday and the same lawyers have been asking folks who bought the fight on UFC.tv and other platforms to come forward because a class act suit directly at UFC is coming this week.
Finally in the last few mins
They are responding and tweeting back almost every person tweeting on the UFC twitter accounts. Class act lawsuit and fans screaming about boycotting UFC future events has had impact. Funny how the UFC still refuses to release a statement or respond on twitter. Mass refunds are better then the legal fees and settlement payout in the long run.
