Comments Thread For: Golovkin, Sanchez Feel No Extra Pressure in Canelo Fight

There's no denying that the stakes are incredibly high when IBF, IBO, WBA, WBC middleweight champion, Gennady Golovkin (37-0, 33 KOs), defends his titles against Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (49-1-1, 34 KOs) on September 16th in what is the most anticipated fight on the boxing calendar heading into the fall.

Cant wait to see Canelo exposing GGG. possibly winning by a TKO in later rounds.

Canelo has much better resume than one dimensional GGG

So if it doesn't play that way will you...
        1. Give this man proper credit
        2. Find the next boogeyman
        3. Completely ignore either of those and still stick to calling him one dimension even though he's shown he's not..

            why mention boogiemen ?

Golovkin has avoided anyone with a pulse

so, there is no line of " boogiemen "

Canelo is a smaller fighter coming up, and nobody gave him a chance 12 months ago..... in fact, a lot of clown posters called him a coward and said the fight would never happen

the only fighter who could be accurately described as a boogieman has given up on fighting lil'G and moved to 175

to answer your question..... if Golovkin wins, then he gets credit for beating Canelo, and will most likely have proved that he is not one-dimensional

Why couldn't Canelo KO jr? He was literally just standing there taking everything yet he couldn't put him away.

Chavez didn't allow many opportunities for counterpunching...
