Because it was the biggest fight of all time, and the winner of this fight isn't even elite anymore, that's what mean Max IMO and I can see the irony.

Boxing wise this fight means nothing.

That is a bad explanation by Max. For starters, Manny was KO'd twice within the first four years of his career at flyweight. Secondly, Manny never was a unified champion with the major belts. He had draws against Agapito Sanchez and in the first Marquez fight. He lost to Floyd for three of the four major belts at welterweight. Furthermore, he never defended the 154 pound title after beating Margarito when it was vacant.

Floyd was able to unify at welterweight and super welterweight.

Floyd is not the same. He looked his age in there on Saturday. I don't think Crawford or Spence stop him but they would for sure beat him by decision.

I doubt either one of those guys beats him, even at this stage. But Mayweather made clear before the fight was even announced that he'd only come back for McGregor. He had no intentions of being a player again at welterweight, so why bring up these young guys? This was an easy way to cash out.

This is what I was stating on YouTube, I mean it’s quite obvious but many people don’t want to come to grips with our sad reality. People kept saying Pac was a shot to **** fighter and he that he should just go away. Well now it’s time for Floyd fans to realize that that same statement is now a very valid statement to make about Floyd as well. People just excuse Floyd’s sub-par performance by stating that it was Floyd’s plan all along to fight fire with fire and cut the ring off. Floyd himself stated that he was letting Mcgregor unload his shots in order for Mcgregor to tire out but was it also part of Floyd’s plan to get tagged the phukk up and lose rounds? It is what it is, a guy in Mcrgregor who hadn’t ever boxed amateur wise or professionally was giving Floyd a good fight and that’s not a great look for Floyd. Floyd’s shot, it’s over and it’s the unfortunate end of an era for everyone. I mean Marquez,Bradley,Klitschko ect. have retired and Cotto,Floyd,Pac,GGG,Sergey ect. are most likely soon to retire.

That's cuz Floyd trained specifically for Conor hence him moving forward. Had he been preparing for Crawford or Spence, they would've been out boxed by him.
