Its not about fearing Margarito, its about wanting to see two of the greatest fighters of our generation get in the ring together. Whether its DLH, Mosley, Hatton, or Spinks, its going to be two of the best fighters in the world going at it. I think most people would rather see that than some guy who won't even fight his mandatory. Like I told you before, this isn't a Rocky movie, a fighter has to earn his way to the top. The best fighter in the world doesn't have to give some "fresh meat" a fight because they ask for it. I don't think you should be questioning whether other people are boxing fans if thats really what you want. Its hard to even fathom how you think Margarito is a better fight than some of these other guys. What do you base that on? What has Margarito done that makes you think he deserves to be fighting some of the greatest fighters in the world? When was the last time Floyd had a manditory. He always seems to conveniently move up in weight after a fight or two. The funny thing is that the ring puts mayweather ahead of margarito at the 147 rankings because of the zab judah fight. so either way, if floyd becomes the ring champ, margarito would move to being the number 1 contender, however he would have to beat clottey/williams before he dreams about a mayweather fight ever in his life.

You can't be serious. I completely agree that Floyd hasn't fought the best fighters at 147 or above yet, but that is what his goal is. Baldomir is the champ at 147, Spinks is the champ at 154, DLH has a belt at 154 and is a sure hall of famer, Mosley is considered one of the best P4P fighters in the world. Floyd is going after 3 of these guy within the next 6 months and you bring up Margarito? Floyd is lining up fights with hall of famers and you say he won't fight tough opponents. Im just calling it like it is, people started calling out Margarito only after he started throwing his money around. Before that no fighter wanted any part of Margarito unless they had to face him. Williams is the mandatory and hes happy as can be about him fighting Margarito, why? Because he belive he's going to get paid into the millions, how he belives this i don't know, besides him thinking he's worth the millions mayweather and winky turned down. Fighters think they can get paid so they are calling out Margarito, if they can get that type of money good for them.

that's the problem, Margo aint fought nobody in no weight class. Why can't u understand that. The best fighter in the world shouldn't be forced to fight fresh new meat. he needs to fight experienced proven fighters. Someone significant. Your boy just aint that and his skills aint even nice!
