I'm just keeping it real. Your girl friend just said he didn't have a mark in him. That's a mark, unless you are blind as a bat
Oh you are actually, you can't see straight when you are swallowing floyd's divk all the time. I forgot!

Here's my take:
I had Floyd losing the first three rounds. Conor simply was more active and while some of his punches were ridiculous he was more active and Floyd was completely inactive. Sorry you don't win rounds that way.
The fact Floyd gave away three rounds added some drama to the fight. But it was clear during those three that McGregor couldn't hurt Floyd and he was already showing signs of fatigue.
By round four Conor was already starting to gas and it was pretty much his last pretty good full round. Floyd also started targeting more and more the body. It wasn't a robust attack but it was clear Floyd was starting to fire it up.
After that it was only a matter if McGregor was going to make it or not. Floyd was in shape to fight 12 rounds McGregor was in shape to fight 6 rounds. That isn't to say Floyd wasn't 100 times more skilled in the ring than Conor but I think had Conor been a conditioned boxer he would have made it the distance. I think he went down more out of sheer exhaustion than being seriously hurt. He couldn't even raise his arms up. He literally lunged to hold.
The fans got what they wanted, I heard it among casuals all day long. It was a circus of a fight but the masses loved it. They (Floyd and Conor) may have not planned the fight this way but it couldn't have been scripted that much better. Kudos to both making a crap load of money but as a boxing fan this fight was meaningless. Like watching an old Jesse Owens running against a horse. Side show now time to get on to real boxing.Last edited by Diego Rodriguez; 08-28-2017, 10:21 PM.Comment

I thought you were rooting for Mayweather to win for the sake of boxing. You also said if Mayweather didn't get a KO it would be an embarrassment.
He won by a KO and actually stood in front of McGregor and now you're criticizing him for getting hit?
It's going to be hard for you to keep up this hate now that he's retired for real.Comment

I give credit where credit is due. Conor represented himself well in a short notice pro debut fight. Most boxer leearned their craft at an early age and turn pro after 10-15 years harnessing their skills to turn pro. What Conor did was amazing to see how he was able to stay there with a seasoned vet with such a short time of learning boxing.I thought you were rooting for Mayweather to win for the sake of boxing. You also said if Mayweather didn't get a KO it would be an embarrassment.

That said, I was routing for Floyd. He needed to drop Conor in the 10th, if he didn't, and Conor survived the 12 rounds. That would have fuvked up the sport that we love.
I always thought this was a circus fight, and Conor having only a punchers chance to win this, thus, it was obviously Floyd who should win this. But seeing what Conor did, and a strong case he took four straight rounds. Is remarkable in itself. Got to give him that. A novice did that to Floyd. I was shocked to see how easy it was for Conor to land those shots. I was covering my eyes. Cringing how Floyd was taking so much shots to the body and head. It was embarrassing to see.
Hats off to Conor. He represented himself well. You can't ask for anything more from him. Even Max Kellerman even said before the fight, Conor won't land a single punch on Floyd, but he did and so much more.
- Got to give him credit for that. He went above and beyond any boxing fans expectations.

Pac fans, yall need to give it up. You criticize Floyd over the littlest **** and he still wins. Even at 40 he still wins clearly. He doesn't get beaten up by a guy like Horn, he doesn't get knocked unconscious, outboxed over the distance or ko'd as a young fighter twice. Give it up. It's over for Pac. He was a great fighter and a Hall Of Fame fighter but Floyd was the greater fighter and history will see him as being greater no matter how much more of an exciting YOU Pac fans think he was than Floyd.Comment

Round 1, 3, and 8 buddy.
But yeah Floyd pretty much won 6 rounds and was on his way to winning the tenth as well (if McGregor would have survived that is).Comment
