i see him maybe taking on 1 fight then calling it quit. there is no way he's gonna put himself thru training and actual fighting only to earn $5-10mil, when he just made close to $100mil in a single fight in boxing. he will not be fighting in the ufc/mma for long. like i said, i see him taking on 1 fight and then he's done. he might just retired after all and not even go thru with it.
$10m is still not to be sniffed at even if he made $100m v Floyd. How many active boxers are really making more than $10m a fight right now? you can probably count them on one hand.
Besides, nobody really wants to see him in a boxing ring again. There's no more interest for that outside of a Malignaggi fight due to the history. If he wants to make more money now from fighting, he has little choice but to go back to the UFC.
Even if he fought Paulie, it wouldn't generate huge money. Even if he could make $10m fighting Paulie which is extremely unlikely, why bother? if he loses to Paulie after the video saga, it would look very bad. No point in risking it for $10m when he can go back to UFC and make the same doing what he does best..
Anyone with a brain will put on 2 months of work for 5 millions ... Also pride and glory don't have to have a $$$ attached to them... But that's just me ...

even in the ufc right now, there is no one that conor can fight that will do big numbers. a 3rd fight with nate diaz is the only fight i see that will have some interest.
plus i think conor burnt himself out during the press tour for the floyd fight. he used up all his bags of tricks, i dont think he'll be maybe to out do that press tour. his act got old real quick and losing to floyd in that fashion sure didnt help. i just cant picture him saying or doing anything else that will crack me up anymore, he used up all his cards.

the punishment in mma is far worst than in a boxing match. i dont see conor putting himself thru that only to make $5 mil. he's gonna take that $100 mil he made for the floyd fight and invest that into something else and will retired from mma.

Well there's that too.
I can see him being out of action for a while anyway at least. He's been in the media every day for months now and people get tired of it easily. It would probably be in everyones best business interest to take a year out, or at least 9 months or something and then build up a return and the UFC/Conor fans will probably get excited about a return if they market it right and get the right fight.
If I was him, I'd fight Paulie next to get another good check. If he wins that, he can cash out against someone from 147-160 and retire. He'd be a fool to go back to the UFC
