    huuuge loss to boxing

If mcgregor had boxer type stamina he would have won a UD..

How does any athlete, MMA fighter or not, perform like that in the ring for the first time?

He landed more punches than any of Floyds other opponents.

Floyd changed his style and gave Conor many more opportunities to land than he would give any A-level boxer. He said before the fight that he was going straight forward, no one believed him but he wasn't bs-ing this time. If Floyd had fought Pacquiao or Cotto the same way it's possible either of them could have stopped a "closer-to-prime" Floyd.

      Don't bother.

Anyone talking this kind of stuff about boxing is just a dumb troll.

The closest scorecard had Conor down 4 rounds with only 3 to go

Floyd changed his style up partly out of necessity. Early on he was finding it difficult to get clean looks from range, and i think mcgregor's counterpunching was better than he expected...he negated that by pushing him back. If floyd simply fought that way cuz he intended to "give the fans a war"...he wouldn't have tried to fight like he usually does for 3-4 rounds. It worked well...as soon as floyd started coming forward, mcgregor didn't have anything on his shots anymore cuz his feet weren't set. People that think floyd was putting himself at more risk by backing conor up don't know what they were watching.
