    Stevenson vs Jack

Adonis Stevenson to Badou Jack: Let’s fight!

Adonis Stevenson says he’s ready to face Badou Jack.

We’ll have to wait and see how serious it is, but following Badou Jack calling him out last night, Adonis Stevenson has responded on Twitter, seemingly accepting the challenge.

Jack (22-1-2, 13 KO) destroyed Nathan Cleverly to win the WBA light heavyweight title on the Mayweather-McGregor pay-per-view, then called out Stevenson, the reigning WBC champion, with some pointed comments.

    Here’s Stevenson’s social media reply:

Stevenson (29-1, 24 KO) is coming off of an easy TKO-2 win over Andrzej Fonfara on June 3. Jack told Showtime’s Jim Gray that he would be willing to travel to Canada to make the fight happen, but again, that’s something we’d have to wait and see. A lot of fighters say a lot of things before actual negotiations begin.

That said, Stevenson-Jack is now a super interesting fight, one of the best to be made at 175 pounds, where Jack debuted and looked stellar, and Stevenson has been mowing down opponents for a while, even considering some of the people he hasn’t faced.

Who would you favor here? Jack looked great last night and is the younger man, but Stevenson has that eraser left hand and can’t be taken lightly at all.

Jack was a big super middle but looks a little small at light heavy. I would favor Superman but i would root for Jack.

What is Jack's chin like? I remember he was down early against DeGale but I think that was the first time I ever watched him. I'm just curious how well he'd take a Stevenson left hand if Adonis was able to land one flush.

He's been KO'd before but i don't really consider him chinny.

I think Stevenson would score a ko quite easily
Just don't think Jack can take a punch especially at lhw
Can't recall who I saw him in there with a few fights ago but horrible defence
Yes looked great last night with Cleverly but honestly Clev is done
Yesterday was youth vs a man in too many wars and too much punishment

Remember kids once a fighter gets knocked down the coin'd the term "Chinny," Unless their name of Carl "The Cobra" Froch.

Jacks the superior boxer. He wont lose to Stevenson.

I think he cane in 186 or 188 pounds last night, not small for a lhw. Stevenson probably 5-10 pounds bigger. Jack looks overall more skilled and the better boxer, but that straight left from Adonis is scary. I like jack, hate Adonis... but I think Adonis would catch & hurt him with a lot of straight lefts and stop him to

I like Jack but he won't survive that Stevenson left hand.

I'd like to see it, but I'd rather see Ward-Stevenson first.
