If that was Conor's best punch of the whole fight, it didn't phase Floyd at all.

To me it looked like when you play a game against a younger sibling, you might let them win for a little bit so they'll keep playing with you, but when you decide you want to beat them, you just win.

Most likely, his quick reflexes saw Conor's hand coming up and he lowered his hand as part of his coordination to try and move out of the way and just wasn't fast enough.
Someone with boxing experience, I was wondering if anyone here had any idea

I think Jacobs outboxed Golovkin but GGG dropped him with his power and that was the difference in the fight.

Not the question I asked, do you think Floyd wanted to tear in and be hit, NO, sit back and access, YES, then when he knows connors moves become more aggressive, that couldn't be a possibility could it, NUFFY

Not 100% sure what you're saying but here's how I see it:

Floyd had 2 choices, box on the outside and move his feet until Conor gets tired, or walk straight forward without any movement at all until Conor gets tired.

I'm saying Floyd deliberately chose to walk straight at Mcgregor which made Mcgregor look better in the process and entertained the fans and especially the casual fans.

Mcgregor was going to gas whether or not Floyd decided to walk forward or move his feet and only engage selectively like he has in 49 other fights. If Floyd decided to box on the outside and not get hit for 9 rounds, everyone would've said "this is boring, he just ran, i feel robbed, etc etc."

Instead Floyd walked straight forward, never moved, stuck his head in Mcgregor's chest for 9 rounds straight to make it entertaining for the fans.

Floyd literally said he was going to go toe to toe and "give the fans what they want to see"

Floyd also placed a bet on himself to win in 9.5 rounds.

He won by TKO in 9.5 rounds after walking Mcgregor down like he said he would, and winning his bet right on time.

That is an intentional choice IMO.

He talked about it in the post fight. Apparently the casino he went to bet at didn't let him do it in person so he had someone else bet for him.

Google and pick any article you like to confirm: https://www.google.com/search?q=mayw...bet+on+himself

This thread signifies Floyd's greatness. If he misses a punch it's a conspiracy theory lol. I think more than anything, the month without sparring really ****ed with Floyd. He couldn't be sharp with his punches, seeing punches, or dodged punches when he literally went a month without seeing it. Plus he's freaking 40 man. Time has a perfect freaking record.
