Yeah I've been stating the same thing the entire time. If he did in fact beat one of the fighters you mentioned, I'd certainly give him more credit, but as it stands....it's a cheap victory over a guy who really isin't going to fight anymore.

When Valuev faces a big man that can put his punches together he's going to be in for a real suprise.

Not really. The history books will also show that he achieved this against the lowest level of opposition available at the time. He won't ever be regarded in the same light as Marciano, who fought the best of his time, not the worst.

But there will definately be idiots who will compare him to Marciano, on a sole basis of records, and as the time passes on, not many will remember who exactly he fought.
And books.....they are written by people.
So, I graciously hope that he fights someone good and gets beat.

              Too Small

Marciano would be way to small to beat this giant destruction machine, way to small. It would be a complete mismatch! Rocky would need to stand on a stool to hit him!.....Oh you know thats the truth! Later brother brologs.

Just as a note of humor in all this, Valuev is now the number 1 rated HW according to the very very reliable boxrec.com.

Chad Dawson is the number 2 light heavy.

                    LOL!!!

I thought he was fighting the winner of the Danny Williams V Skelton fight, I might be wrong though.
