I don't agree. Klitschko was a much better fighter than Ortiz. Way better movement. Way more agile. Just a better overall fighter.

Klitschko is a proven champion but the version Joshua fought isn't necessarily better than Ortiz.. If you watch the Bryant Jennings fight, Ortiz looked sluggish and slow to begin with but then he changes up his gameplan mid-fight, picks up his feet and suddenly became fast and agile. Jennings was shocked. Jennings got KOd in 7 rounds by Ortiz while he went the full 12 with Klitschko just 8 months earlier in his previous fight.

The only thing I'm confident about with this fight is I don't think it'll go the distance & whoever wins will do so by KO.
I can understand your reluctance here! But I agree with Mammoth, Wilder will KO Ortiz sometime after the middle rounds whether he gets "taken to Cuban boxing school" early or not!

Klitchko was given instruction to just out box him ,Ali Bashir has recently said that Klitchko under Banks kept making errors ( not including the Joshua fight ) Klitchko is clearly better than Ortiz and usibg one fight with Jennings as a measuring stick isn't realistic at all.

The best fighting the best, I like this. Wilder deserves to challenge Joshua if he beats Ortiz, I don't see it personally and I'm even more doubtful this foght actually happens down to Wilder's track record of facing absolute cans.

Ortiz is 38 now and somewhat lumbering, I don't know if he can do enough to back up Wilder and create openings. Wilder will be on his rollerskates for this one. He will win this one with his reach advantage and footwork in what will likely be a very dull fight that sees Ortiz following and chasing Wilder around for 12 rounds. Of course he always has a puncher's chance that he can catch Wilder on the chin, but I favor Wilder to win this one by UD.

On top having a superior performance against Jennings compared to Klitschko's performance, we can also take into consideration his superior performance against Dave Allen compared to Dillian Whyte. Again, Whyte went the full 10 rounds with the very durable Allen while Ortiz KOd him in 7 rounds with some dynamic combinations. Also, Ortiz may have retired several boxers for good. Tony Thompson, Malik Scott, and Monte Barrett are all yet to fight again since stepping in the ring with him.

Wilder and Joshua beats Ortiz but Ortiz out-boxes them both early before getting caught with something BIG

This. Klitschko was champion for over 10 years and Ortiz hasn't fought anybody. I still think Ortiz bests wilder though. Hope it happens.
