Conor would go for the dry hump take down, Floyd uppercuts him into next week with a dragon punch.
Floyd would have KO'ed Connor in the Octogon

Agreed on all points. Good post! You just knew that some fans today were going to claim that Floyd would also beat him in the octagon.Lets not get crazy now. In the cage all that stuff where Floyd was ending up with Conor behind him woulda been fight ending choke sh^t or throw Floyd to the ground & ground & pound him into submission sh^t.
Conor vs Floyd in the cage would look far less competitive then last night looked cuz there are more things coming at Floyd that Floyd has no clue in the world how to defend or avoid. And that'll be the case more often then not cuz fighting in the cage is like a nation going to war with an army, navy, air force vs just an army. More options = more weapons to find holes in your opponents game.Comment

He has literally 0% chance. Not even a punchers chance. I know white belts who would smash Floyd in MMa. Unless you trained you wouldn't understand. Conor is a brown belt which is pretty high level. Even if it was a stand up fight only Conor would kick his head off.Comment

Now you are sounding as ignorant as the MMA fans who thought Conor could win a boxing match.I don't see anything that Connor does in the Octogon that would have changed last nights result.
His punches were weak, he was doing that shiiity hammer blows bull**** too without being warned and it didn't faze Floyd at all.
His takedowns and submission game is weak. He was the weaker man in the clinches.
So what does he have that would really set him apart in the octogon. Kicks? Elbows. I'd say Floyd is better with elbows than Connor.
That just leaves kicks. Give Floyd 2 months and to train blocking kicks and takedown defense and that's that.
4-ounce gloves would just make the same TKO come quicker.Comment
