Connor looked like a clown who didn't learn how to actually box and just fowled relentlessly. Floyd came out the hero in the end. I'm not even a fan of the guy but I think he represented the sport well.
I think both sides had great ambassadors & I loved how respectful both guys were of each other in the ring during the fight, after the fight & at the presser. It truly seemed like a win all the way around the table to me.
The biggest failure last night was they somehow priced the tickets so badly they didn't have a sellout. Sh^t man I sell tickets outside the venue for $500 just to make that venue filled.

Damn Redd...
ever since Pac lost you been a miss.. I'll ask again, did you bet on Pac for his last fight? honestly
Mayweather has retired his "Money" persona for good.
I am from Grand Rapids, I know his cousin fairly well, she's said for years do not believe what you see, it's all an act. She says he is actually cheap. He leases his ***elry, he was given a few of his cars by promoters, and he rents his jet out to pay for his travel. Her last name is Mayweather, so maybe she's biased, but she talked about going to parties at his house and him basically just providing pizza and cheap drinks for his guests. Who really knows, but that's his family's view. Hope he's been smart enough to invest properly so he never has to fight again. The guy took care of himself and lived clean, here's hoping he's an ambassador for boxing for decades to come.

lol, I just wasn't hanging around here to tell 500 clowns that Connor didn't have a chance, over and over, and over.
The Pac fight was ugly and ended poorly, IMO, but I'm not going to ditch boxing over another Pac controversy. Come on.
Now that the May/Mac thing is over, I'm excited about this place getting back to real boxing talk.
people are still justifying Conor's performance as actually winning but then gassing out... tsk tsk
I wondered what delusion these guys would come up with and, sure enough, they found one. I wasn't reading here but here's my take; Mayweather felt him out for 2/3 rounds and let Connor's explosive energy subside. Then, he worked him over for the rest of the fight, landing the right hand at will. Just as predicted.
But, to see people here come up with this, "it was close and they stopped it too early". FFS, I don't expect much from a boxing site but some people here are truly ******.
