Comments Thread For: Carl Froch: Conor McGregor Was Outclassed, It Was a Mismatch

Carl Froch admitted he was on the edge of his seat but believes Floyd Mayweather "outclassed" Conor McGregor in their light-middleweight fight in Las Vegas. Mayweather took his record to 50-0 by stopping Irishman McGregor, who was making his professional boxing debut at the T-Mobile Arena, in the 10th round. Four-time world super-middleweight champion Froch praised the UFC star's resilience but the 40-year-old was not surprised by the result.

Well, it's like if Floyd was fighting him in the octagon in the Ufc, not much chance for him against McGregor. But in boxing, his world. Thanks and goodbye Mayweather.

On 2nd viewing, yeah it was a mismatch, but McGregor still looked better than we all thought he would. Mayweather coasted the first 2 rounds and then took over and dominated the fight by walking the much bigger man down. Mayweather walked right through Conor's punches.

And there were almost 2 minutes left in the 10th, no way was Conor seeing the 11th, stoppage was good.

3 Boxers have gone into MMA and won by knockout in their FIRST fight. No MMA fighters will ever come into boxing and knockout a boxer let alone win. Ray Mercer was 50 years old and KTFO of Tim Sylvia on 6days notice. Boxing>MMA

Pretty Boy Floyd KOs McGregor in the Octagon after trying to trade with Floyd imo

"...Mayweather, fighting for the first time in 714 days..."

That's hilarious. Quaaludes were called 714s back in the day.

                LOL!!!
