Plus the money fight was in that division. Boxers are first and foremost here to make money. Didn't Floyd teach you anything.

So was Haglar not a P4P guy, he never moved up. Was Hopkins not a P4P guy before and after he beat Tito? He continued to stay in the same division. Did he need to beat Tito to be elite, or just maybe knowledgable people could see he was a P4P guy regardless if he beat another P4P or HOF before that fight.

I'm sure GGG would have fought Mayweather in a NYC second if Mayweather agreed to 154lbs. That 154lbs statement was basically for Mayweather and you know it. Everyone wanted a piece of Floyd and the golden goose. I don't blame Floyd for not looking for that fight, you'll never hear me say he "ducked" Golovkin.

I think Golovkin's resume is unfortunately weaker than it could be, and that's almost entirely because other MWs avoided him until recently. It is unfortunate and if he does go an to blast Canelo it will be sad that we didn't get to see him in big fights at a younger age. I believe had Golovkin faced Martinez three years ago the whole narrative about his resume would look different. In sum I saw enough of Golovkin to know he is an elite fighter right now in the sport just as I knew Hopkins was an elite fighter before the Tito fight. Same complaints were made about him and his terrible resume. Not until he destroyed Tito did he get his due in boxing. Most people picked Tito to win.
We're talking about golovkin, not hagler, not hopkins....oh btw what was the cw for Hopkins vs Dlh btw? I seem to recall 157....wht didn't golovkin move down 3 lbs for his biggest career payday?

Stop using his next fight as an excuse...hes had PLENTY of opportunities to fight at 168...he was gonna fight DeGale, but brook was so much easier to sign right? What does years ago have to do with that lookalike child ******er taking a career defining fight before all this? He sat around and waited for daddy canelo. He's got 37 fights and doesn't have ONE career defining fight.

If Conor had gone out there and bombed away like a guy like Lemieux who tends to gas by round 5 okay. But he wasn't.

Floyd is land a body shots I think starting in round 4. I made a comment that with Conor already gassing that he was smart to work the body.

Here's my final point; McGregor was outclassed big time. I had him winning the first there rounds only because Floyd didn't do anything except make Mgregor miss a rather low volume of punches. And most of those punches he threw had no real power behind them. Some of his punches landed but other than a decent upper cut nothing with any power.

Once Floyd turned it up in. Round 4, and it wasn't radical, he landed some punches, avoided some punches, and McGregor started gassing.

His gasing had a lot more to do with him being a UFC fighter and not a boxer. Sure Mayweather had something to do with it. Funny I've never seen another fighter other than Conor look so gassed against Mayweather that early, or maybe at any time of the fight. It took a UFC fighter to look that way, not an accident.
Conor gassed and because he doesn't know how to call on reserves like boxers do, and that's why he got stopped. Boxers are used to this and MMA fighters aren't. So in a sense you're right about him being a UFC fighter but that isn't why he lost. Saying that he gassed because he's a UFC fighter is not giving Floyd any credit for his lead right body shots.

Maidana gassed, Judah gassed, Guerrero gassed, Corley gassed, Mosley gassed. They all were hit with the same shot. Lead right to the body, and a left hook. Floyd didn't throw the left hook a lot because you don't do that against southpaws a lot unless youre an inside fighter.

Just because a boxer says he will fight from 154-168 does not have a time frame and must be worth it. Ward cant even draw flies to his ****!!! GGG said 1st he had to finish his weight class which now he is fighting the best in Canelo and probably 10000x the money. Every boxer fights the elite of there class before ever moving up.
Ward lost his 1st fight to kol. 2nd he low blowed to make him quit!! Some great guy!!!
At 168 I would bet on GGG at 175 that might be more then GGG can weigh without lossing much speed. Canelo is the # 1 attraction in boxing today!!! GGG FIGHT WILL DRAW OVER A MILLION BUYS WITH EASE!!
Wards fights even on tv are closer to 350k lmao.

Well said. Ward has hit the matt multiple times. He is a good boxers at being dirty as Floyd with elbows, butts etc...
He is good but people say GGG ducked are fools. Ggg is fighting his class as did hopkins into his 40's.
People have to remember that GGG faught at 140 up in his 20's as a amateur. He really is not a middle weight. He could be a 154er easy.
People wanting him to jump up to 175 for ward is like saying floyd ducked Roy Jones in his Prime!!! Same difference. I do believe GGG moves up but it will be after Canelo then maybe 1 more at 160. GGG ducks no man.
175 ward comes in well over 185.
GGG comes in at 168-172. It will take him time to adjust. He said he would move up but only when down at 160. Canelo is by far a better fighter then Wards boring ass and bring multi millions to the table with a great match up. Ward just brings a pile of ****!!-

I don't think we are that far off. IMO if I had to take percentages I'd say 75% of why Conor gassed as bad as he did was because he was an MMA fighter. 25% due to Mayweather.

All those other guys you listed that gassed were due to Mayweather. Those guys though never gassed like Conor. Conor gassed as epic as he did because he is an MMA fighter. if you disagree we just disagree.

Of course you don't want to talk about history because it doesn't fit your narrative. I'm also sure it bothers you that I referenced black fighters to make a point. Funny how you don't want to talk about those guys but then try and make a point using one of those guys. You're a moron, LOL!

Unlike you I won't run away from your argument. DLH was like Mayweather, if you have a chance to fight him and make all that money you did it. I don't think Hopkins agreed to a catch weight for Tito. I love you Golovkin haters. You have more hate for Golovkin not dropping down in weight than Canelo who could have easily made the weight. Golovkin is the bad guy when there was absolutely no reason for the MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE to be fought at less than 160.

I've learned you can't teach common sense to a dolt. You're a dolt and is obvious to me you haven't accomplished crap in your own life. Your just a bitter pathetic man. Beat it loser.
