I've seen the triangle theory applied in the ring, and part of me understands the logic behind it. If a>b and b>c, then a>c, so I get that, even if it's flawed. But this is the first time I've seen it applies to the negotiation table. If a works with b faster than a works with c, then a is scared of c... WTF?!?
