I think Teddy's saying, Mayweather tried to give a better performance with the defensive brilliance and counter punching, which we saw in rounds 2 and 3, but Conor's approach forced him to just go out there and do the business because it wasn't working.

I think Smith's saying, ultimately, we got a lesser performance and that's all that matters.


I agree with Atlas.

Floyd clearly tried to pull counter in the second, at least twice, but McGregor was too elusive to land it. He tried to do overhand counter and McGregor caught him with the uppercut. So Floyd said F it, I'll just bully the hell out of this dude like Jeff "The Hornet" Horn did to Manny.
