Does this fight mark the end of Mcgregor's carrier ?

I wonder, who would go back to the octogone and fight for peanuts after making 100 times more than you would usually make with a MMA fight ?

I feel like he will never have the motivation to fight in MMA once again after that. Boxing is where the big money is and he knows it and once you have tasted boxing and its big pay check, you just cannot go back.

Maybe he will try to become a decent boxer but I can't see him going back to UFC. That would not make sense and that would be a regression.

What do you guys think ?

I think things are lined up between money & competition that boxing again makes sense. If he doesn't get a fight lined up with Nate Diaz or someone else before Oct. 7 when Tony Ferguson & Kevin Lee fight for the interim title in Conor's division & the right to fight him next he'll be fighting Ferguon or Lee next & I don't love Conor's chances vs either of those guys. Meanwhile he can fight Paulie & probably sell 1M+ PPV's & get 2x, 3x the money for that fight than the Ferguson vs Lee winner fight.

The Diaz trilogy fight is probably the only realistic fight he makes more money in then he'd make boxing Paulie next so for sure thats his best option. If GSP comes down to 170 that could be a huge fight for Conor to in the future.

I just took a look and mcgreggor's carrier still looks like its in the same shape it was before. im not sure how this fight would destroy his carrier, i mean yeah he had to travel across the atlantic with it but its made from fine leather and can surely handle one trip being hand carried as carry on luggage. Hes a millionaire he can afford the high quality carrier bags, not like he is using cheap chit that would be ruined from one fight.
