Can we stop comparing Andre Ward to Floyd Mayweather Jr please?

It's as if certain group of individuals want and expect every new black American 'slick' 'technical' boxer to be classified at the level of Floyd Mayweather Jr or a Roy Jones Jr. Not because of actual boxing skills, but because of other characteristics (I don't need to specify what they are).

Let's not blindly (of actual boxing abilities) raise clowns and deliberate cheaters like Andre Ward and other boxers to Floyd Mayweather's level. Floyd Mayweather was a legitimate boxer who won majority of his bouts cleanly with clean boxing. He has legitimate boxing skills and has won most of his fights through ACTUAL boxing skills.

On the other hand, Andre Ward is at best, slightly above average as a boxer and most of his game revolves around cheating, breaking the rules and deliberately hurting / damaging his opponents through those tactics.

Let's also stop the assumption that just because one doesn't like Andre Ward or finds Andre Ward unappealing or criticizes Andre Ward, that they also won't like Floyd Mayweather Jr or would find him unappealing or would apply the same criticism to him. Some individuals have eyes (beyond just seeing superficial traits) and actually are able to see ACTUAL boxing abilities.

Andre gets hit way too much and got dropped silly he is however the best mma boxer to date.

Ward finds a way to win every fight, the same as Floyd. That's what the best fighters do. I don't think Ward will retire undefeated though, I thought he lost the first Kovalev fight and he's slowing down quite a bit. If he hangs around even a little too long he may get beat.

For me, it has nothing to do with any of the things you've mentioned but to do with Andre Ward performing illegal moves to win his bouts against every top level opponent.

The same can't be said of Mayweather (who has actually beat many top caliber opponents without needing illegal headbutts and low blows).

The difference is, one guy (Floyd Mayweather) can actually box and win his bouts using legit boxing skills. The other guy (Andre Ward) can't and has to rely on illegal moves / cheating to win every one of his fights against a top level opponent.

If all you can see is skin color, then I feel sorry for you.
